“I came to the event as a fan of the ‘BarLume’ detective novels, and I left with a new perspective on Artificial Intelligence… and with the taste of Tuscan extra virgin olive oil still in my mouth!”

The cultural events promoted by Gruppo Forti continued with an evening dedicated to the relationship between literature and new technologies.

The protagonist was Marco Malvaldi, a famous crime story writer from Pisa known for the popular BarLume novel series, who led the audience through an in-depth reflection on the role of Artificial Intelligence in creative and educational processes.

During his talk, Malvaldi described AI as an epochal change, comparable to revolutions such as the invention of printing or the advent of the Internet, while stressing the need for a conscious and critical approach. Among the ideas he put forward was the concept of a new professional figure – the “AI trainer” – capable of interacting with technology to refine its outputs while preserving the centrality of human contribution.

The evening ended with a presentation by Leonardo Paolini, owner of Frantoio del Monte Pisano, who illustrated his company’s territorial redevelopment project and guided participants through a tasting of award-winning extra virgin olive oil paired with typical Tuscan specialties.

An event that successfully combined culture, innovation, and the promotion of local excellence.

Invitations are reserved for companies operating within the Montacchiello Innovation Park.
